Training Recovery Leaders. Transforming Communities.
Because recovery grows when the community grows.
Recovery can’t happen alone. Communities need trained peers, informed families, and educated allies who understand how to support those working toward healing.
We provide workshops, certification pathways, and peer training designed to empower individuals and families. Our goal is to create a community where recovery is understood, supported, and celebrated.
What We Provide
Without education, stigma continues, and people feel alone.
With a trained community, recovery becomes accessible, normalized, and sustainable for all.
Detailed Training Descriptions:
SOAR – Science of Addiction and Recovery
A 3-hour workshop explaining addiction as a brain condition and highlighting that recovery, like other chronic health conditions, is a daily process successfully managed by millions of Americans. Participants learn the science behind addiction, why recovery supports are important, and how individuals and communities can access multiple pathways to recovery.
Recovery Messaging
This training teaches participants how to communicate about recovery in ways that inspire hope, reduce stigma, and strengthen public understanding. Participants learn effective messaging strategies that highlight recovery success and promote supportive community conversations.
Language as a Tool to Combat Stigma
Language shapes how people view substance misuse and recovery. This training explores how person-centered, recovery-focused language can reduce stigma and create more supportive environments for individuals and families affected by substance misuse.
Recovery-Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC)
This training introduces the principles of Recovery-Oriented Systems of Care and how communities can build coordinated networks of services that support long-term recovery. Participants learn how organizations, peers, and community partners can work together to strengthen recovery supports.
Empowered Workplaces
This training helps organizations create recovery-supportive workplaces by increasing awareness of substance misuse and recovery. Employers and leaders learn practical strategies to support employees, reduce stigma, and foster healthier, more resilient work environments.
Active Parenting
A 6-week evidence-based parenting program that helps parents strengthen communication, build positive discipline strategies, and develop practical skills for raising healthy, confident children.
Compassionate Conversations
This training teaches practical skills for having supportive, nonjudgmental conversations with individuals experiencing substance misuse. Participants learn how to respond with empathy, reduce stigma, and encourage individuals to seek help and support.
Narcan Training
This training prepares community members and organizations to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and properly administer Narcan (naloxone), a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an overdose.
