Reliable Rides & Supportive Transport for Recovery

Never miss a meeting, appointment, interview, or milestone. We’re here to drive you forward.

Recovery often depends on simply getting there, to meetings, treatment sessions, interviews, school, or work. But for many individuals in Walton County, transportation is a major barrier that can derail hope, progress, and stability.

Our Peer Transportation Service is more than a ride. It’s a supportive, judgment-free space where a certified peer walks with you, literally, from point A to point B. Each ride includes encouragement, accountability, and companionship from someone who understands the ups and downs of recovery.

What We Provide

Transportation to support meetings and recovery groups.

Rides to job interviews, school, and work.

Transportation for medical and mental-health appointments.

Access to medication-assisted treatment (MAT) visits.

A supportive peer coach on every ride.

Lack of reliable transportion = missed opportunities, increased relapse risk, and isolation.
With Walton Empowers transportation = doors opening, new routines, new stability, and renewed hope become possible.

Why people need this:

For many in recovery, especially in rural areas or communities where transportation is scarce, simply getting to a meeting, job, doctor’s appointment, or recovery-related appointment is a major barrier. Missed rides can mean missed opportunities for healing, employment, or stability.

We Are Your Guide:

At Walton Empowers, we understand that reliable transportation can be the difference between staying stuck and making progress. That’s why our Peer Transportation service pairs you with certified peer coaches who don’t just drive you, they ride with you, offering encouragement, support, and understanding from people who have walked similar paths

Our Plan:

  • Provide rides to and from critical places: support group meetings, treatment centers, medical appointments, work, school, recovery events, and job interviews. Walton Empowers.

  • Offer “peer-guided rides”: while transporting you, our peer coaches offer compassionate recovery coaching and support, turning a simple ride into a step toward healing and connection.

What’s At Stake:

  • Without reliable transportation, you may miss appointments or meetings, lose access to vital support, or feel isolated, risking relapse or setbacks.

  • With Walton Empowers’ Peer Transportation, you gain dependable access to recovery resources, consistent support, and a real chance to rebuild your life, with guidance every mile of the way.
