Walton Empowers offers peer-led resources specifically tailored for parents and families because we believe recovery shouldn’t just be personal, but relational.
Our Plan:

Provide parent support meetings: a safe space for parents in recovery to connect, share, and learn how to communicate with their children about recovery and substance use.

Offer training, education, and peer support for navigating child-welfare systems (like DFCS), collaborating with family treatment courts, and managing parent-child visitation and reunification.
- Provide parent advocacy services: help create self-directed care plans, strengthen parenting skills, and support families during recovery and reunification.
